Technical Delivery Manager / Project Manager | MAF Retail | IndiaRole Purpose: A Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating the delivery of technical projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. This role requires a deep understanding of technology, agile project management methodologies, and strong leadership skills to ensure successful product and solution deliveries. They work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to manage expectations, identify risks, and facilitate communication. Overview: • Coordinate and monitor the progress of technical projects. • Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. • Collaborate with project teams to define project scope and requirements. • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders. • Assist in resource allocation and project planning. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams. Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Software Development Project & Delivery Management Understanding of the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, with a focus on technical projects. Lead end to end plan and delivery management of technical solutions for initiatives/projects. Proficiency in Agile and Scrum frameworks, including sprint planning, backlog management, and agile ceremonies to manage project delivery effectively. Knowledge of risk management processes, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to minimize project risks. Issue Resolution: Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving conflicts within the team or with stakeholders. Track and report project progress using Agile, Scrum, or other delivery methodologies. Stakeholder & Client Management Enable and foster relationship management, stakeholder communication and management of cross team dependencies, including and not limited to scoping, planning, prioritization, escalation, capacity planning as well as management of cross functional alignment. Strong communication skills to clearly articulate ideas, project goals, and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Process Optimization Skills in identifying areas for process improvement within project delivery and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Promoting a culture of documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to enhance collaboration and continuous improvement. Ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, and user manuals. Project & Management Skills Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects with multiple stakeholders. Expertise in project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.). Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Microsoft Project). Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions. Soft Skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.Qualification, Experience & Skills: Minimum Qualifications/education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum experience 10-13 years of experience in related functionSkills Certification in project management (PMP) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe) is a plus. Experience in an eCommerce is a mandatory. Experience in Retail &Search Domain is a plus. Forward, proactive and strategic thinker with the ability to think out of the box. Strong inter-personal and communication skills including ability to work in a cross-functional environment as well as communicate with all levels of organization clearly and succinctly.
