Description :Job Title : Automation QA EngineerLocation : Pune, Gurugram, Chennai, BangaloreExperience : 45 YearsAbout the Role :We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our growing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, test data management, and integration testing with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts ensuring robust and efficient test coverage.- Execute automation test suites, analyze results, and report defects.- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to refine story designs, test plans, and code reviews.- Automate integration and end-to-end tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Test Bench.- Perform system integration testing and support continuous improvement of automation frameworks.- Review unit test coverage and suggest enhancements for better quality assurance.- Ensure adherence to Agile practices and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.Must-Have Skills :- Postman, Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium (mandatory)- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito).- Strong knowledge of test design techniques and test data management.- Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).- Hands-on with SQL queries and database-level testing.- Familiarity with defect management and configuration management tools (e.g., CVS/SVN).Good to Have :- Experience in Web Applications, Microservices, and UI/Backend/DB level testing.- Knowledge of SoapUI, Zephyr, Accessibility Testing (JAWS).- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.- Background in Engineering with strong analytical and communication skills.Qualifications :- B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Engineering.- 45 years of proven experience in automation testing and QA processes.
