Role Title: Senior Consultant - Analytics Steward

The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.

The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

What you’ll do

We are establishing a new Analytics Governance team to improve the trust, clarity and usability of our data across the enterprise. As a Analytics Steward, you will manage analytics assets such as reports,dashboards,KPIs and data products ensuring they are accurate,well-documented and aligned with enterprise governance standards,. You will work closely with business and technical team to ensure analytics assets are well documented, compliant and accessible. Looking for a motivated professional to join our governance team who are interested in data governance, cataloging and supporting analytics platforms.

1)Support cataloging of reports, dashboard, KPIs and data products.
2)Capture and maintain metadata, glossary terms and basic lineage details.
3)Assist in applying data governance standards and compliance guidelines.
4)Work with business users, analysts and developers to validate information.
5)Prepare and maintain simple SOPs, documentation and knowledge materials.
6)Support audits, reviews and reporting for governance activities.

Essential for the role

1)Experience in analytics, reporting or data governance roles;.
2)Hands-on experience with analytics platforms (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or similar)
3)Understanding of data concepts(metadata, glossary, lineage, data quality)
4)Good communication, documentations and colloboration skills.
5)Strong willingness to learn and grow in data governance.

Desirable for the role

1) Exposure to cataloging/governance tools(Collibra etc)
2)Awareness of cloud data platforms or databases.
3)Interest in governance frameworks(DAMA,DCAM)
