This is a part-time opportunity to work on live systems and real-world web applications that power a global freelancing platform. You’ll play a key role in building scalable and secure features and improving system performance across both front-end and back-end technologies.You'll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver robust solutions that enhance user experience, security and platform functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBuild scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and optionally JavaManage and optimize MongoDB or similar NoSQL databasesIntegrate and test third-party APIs using tools such as PostmanWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, version control, and collaborative development using Git and GitHubWork closely with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy new featuresIdentify and troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and ensure high system reliabilityBasic application security knowledgeQualificationsStrong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSSExperience with Node.js and Express.jsHands-on knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with Java for backend development (optional, but a plus)Understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and API integrationExperience using Postman or similar tools for testingProficiency with Git and working in collaborative development environmentsExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive learning mindsetA personal portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating relevant projects is highly preferredPerks and TermsRemote-first culture – work from anywhereBe part of a live product: contribute to www.ditansource.comFormal employment under Ditanbiz India Private LimitedWork with a passionate, growing team in a fast-paced global environmentOpportunities for learning, growth, and ownership of key projects
