Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Radio Telephony Restricted (A) Instructor to provide training and instruction to students preparing for their Radio Telephony Restricted (A) certification. The instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive lessons on communication procedures, radio phraseology, and aviation-related communication protocols to ensure students are well-prepared for both theoretical and practical assessments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and effective classroom and practical training sessions on Radio Telephony Restricted (A) procedures.
  • Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and training aids to align with current regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical exercises, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant regulations and standards set by aviation authorities, including WPC and ICAO, and ensure compliance in all instructional activities.
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them to achieve their certification goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in aviation communication technology, procedures, and regulations to ensure training content remains current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the quality of training programs.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate training records, student progress reports, and other administrative documentation as required.


Qualifications:

  • A valid Radio Telephony Restricted (A) License.
  • Proven experience as a Radio Telephony Instructor or in a related aviation communication role.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation communication procedures, air traffic control protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students, fostering a positive and conducive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using training aids, simulators, and other educational technology.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching or instructional experience in aviation training.
  • Certification or accreditation from recognized aviation training organizations.
  • Familiarity with DGCA regulations and standards related to Radio Telephony.
