Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Freight Forwarding sector, including Air and ocean freight services.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to formulate effective sales strategies.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.

- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention through continuous engagement and service excellence.

- Drive sales growth by identifying new prospects, developing leads, and converting them into long-term clients.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- In-depth knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry, including Air and ocean transportation modes.

- Understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and customs regulations.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and manage complex contracts.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.

- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

- 5-15 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within Freight Forwarding industry.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
