Job Description :

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to empower data-driven decision-making within the organization.

You will leverage your expertise in BI tools, SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing to create insightful dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to gain valuable insights from their data.

Key Responsibilities :

BI Solution Development :

- Utilize your expertise in at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or QuickSight) to develop interactive dashboards and reports that visualize key business metrics and KPIs.

- Design and implement data models to support reporting and analysis requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

SQL and Data Manipulation :

- Apply your strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and manipulate data from various sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and other data repositories.

- Optimize SQL queries and data manipulation processes to improve performance and efficiency.

Data Warehousing and ETL :

- Leverage your expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to design and implement data integration workflows.

- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to BI solutions.

Dashboarding and Visualization :

- Develop visually appealing and intuitive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business users.

- Incorporate advanced analytics techniques, such as forecasting, clustering, and predictive modeling, into BI solutions to unlock deeper insights from data.

Documentation and Communication :

- Document BI solution designs, data models, and report specifications to ensure clarity and maintainability.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and provide regular updates on BI solution development activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3-10 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.

- Proficiency in at least one BI tool: Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or QuickSight.

- Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced SQL concepts such as window functions, subqueries, and performance optimization.

- Experience with data modeling, dashboarding, and analytical skills, including the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in a BI tool such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI), Tableau Desktop Specialist, Qlik Sense Business Analyst, etc.

- Experience with other BI tools and technologies, such as Looker, MicroStrategy, SAP BusinessObjects, etc.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
