Good-to-Have Experience with cloud migration, automation scripting, container platforms, and data center compliance frameworks.Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 · Ensure 24/7 uptime and operational efficiency of data center infrastructure. · Lead and mentor technical teams handling servers, storage, and networking. · Oversee hardware installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. · Manage capacity planning, performance monitoring, and incident resolution. · Implement security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols. · Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams for seamless operations. · Drive automation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Ensure high availability and optimal performance of data center infrastructure. · Lead and manage data center operations including servers, storage, and network systems. · Supervise installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software. · Monitor system health, capacity, and performance metrics proactively. · Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards. · Manage incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL framework). · Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support. · Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and migrations. · Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and inventory. · Drive automation and process improvements for operational efficiency. · Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution and issue resolution. · Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of data center operations. · Ensure proper power and cooling management across racks and zones. · Train and mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to operational standards.
