Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :


- Design, implement, and optimize schemas, stored procedures, and functions in Oracle and Sybase.

- Perform stored procedure migration across platforms during application modernization efforts.

- Collaborate with Java development teams to ensure database and application layer compatibility.

- Conduct query optimization and performance tuning for production and staging environments.

- Support and validate replication strategies, backup policies, and disaster recovery solutions.

- Troubleshoot complex database issues to improve stability and scalability.

- Assist in database migration planning, upgrades, and version control.

Required Skills & Experience :


- Strong expertise in Oracle and Sybase (schema design, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and stored procedures).

- Proven experience in performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

- Familiarity with migration projects and modernization initiatives involving legacy systems.

- Experience working with Java developers on ORM frameworks and data layer integration.

- Solid understanding of replication, backup, and recovery strategies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
