Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and validate AI models and algorithms for drug discovery pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Software Development Engineers (SDEs) to integrate AI models into production workflows.
  • Stay current with the latest research and trends in AI, particularly transformers, GANs, VAEs, and their applications in drug discovery.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and inform model development.
  • Present findings and progress to cross-functional teams, contributing to the collective knowledge and direction of the company.
  • Contribute to publications and patent filings based on the research conducted.
  • Research and implement appropriate approaches from research papers/blogs.


Requirements:

  • Holding a degree or currently pursuing a B.Tech, M.Tech, or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of transformers and related topics such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Variational Autoencoders (VAEs), etc.
  • Previous work experience or internships in AI/ML, with a proven track record of applying these techniques to real-world problems.
  • Familiarity with reading and synthesizing research papers, and the ability to implement concepts from academic research into practical applications.
  • Proficient in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate complex information and extract relevant insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • A passion for Responsible AI and its potential to advance healthcare research and development.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
