Whizz HR is on a look for Group Account Director to work with an award winning advertising agency in MumbaiRole Overview: The Group Account Director leads client relationships, oversees strategic campaign development, and ensures high-quality delivery across all marketing and communication initiatives. This role manages account teams, drives revenue growth, and serves as the senior point of contact for key clients. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall client relationship management and act as the senior liaison between the agency and clients Understand client business objectives and develop long-term communication strategies Oversee campaign planning, creative development, media execution, and performance evaluation Direct and mentor account managers, executives, and support teams Manage budgets, forecasts, billing, and project profitability Present strategic proposals, pitches, and performance results to clients and internal leadership Ensure timely delivery of campaigns while maintaining quality standards Identify upselling opportunities and drive organic business growth Collaborate closely with creative, media, strategy, and production departments Monitor industry trends and bring proactive recommendations to clients Manage multiple high-value accounts simultaneously Maintain strong knowledge of digital, social, ATL, BTL, experiential, and integrated marketing techniques Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field 8+ years of agency experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior client-servicing role Strong leadership experience managing account teams Proven success in client management and strategic communication Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities Understanding of emerging media platforms and performance marketing Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Key Competencies: Strategic thinking Client empathy and consultative approach Commercial acumen Conflict resolution Team leadership Multi-project managementWrite to us with your resume at hello@whizzhr.comWarm regards, Whizz HR
