Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Location: Malad West, Mumbai

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new product designs from various industry verticals which involve plastics, sheet metal, weldments, and machined parts.
  • Draft 2D drawings for manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge of FEA Setup and Analysis.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems while designing new products.
  • Work in a team and support other team members.
  • Responsible for detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project.
  • Able to communicate the status accurately to customers in English.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience is necessary.
  • Should have excellent 3D designing and modeling skills.
  • Relevant experience in Solidworks's modeling along with training from a recognized institute is preferred.
  • Should have knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing, thermoforming, welding, etc.
  • Experience in Machine Designing is a plus.
  • Knows 2D drawing creation for manufacturing.
  • Should have experience in team management and project delivery.
  • Good communication skills in English and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Have passion and a sense of urgency to succeed.
  • B.E in Mechanical Engineering
  • Having experience in NX will be a plus.
