Job Title : Automation Test Engineer (Playwright)Location : Hyderabad (WFO)Experience : 5+ YearsEmployment Type : Full-TimeJob Overview : We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright and modern testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of automation testing for web and mobile applications, a passion for quality, and the ability to deliver in fast-paced agile environments.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright / Cypress / Selenium.- Perform functional, regression, and API testing to ensure application quality.- Implement automated API and security testing strategies.- Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify, log, and resolve defects.- Analyze test results, track issues, and provide detailed reports.- Utilize JIRA for test management, execution, and defect tracking.- Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.- Continuously enhance test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.- 5+ years of experience in automation testing for web/mobile applications.- Proficiency in Playwright, with exposure to Cypress / Selenium.- Experience with API automation and security testing.- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.- Working knowledge of JIRA or other test management tools.Nice to Have : - Experience in CI/CD tools and pipelines.- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.- Understanding of agile/scrum methodologies.
