Role – Data Specialist – Business Intelligence

Job Description:

We need a BI data specialist who has hands-on experience in generating, designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights. The primary role of the person is to transform raw data into meaningful information that can be used to drive business strategies and decisions.

To do this, the person should understand the business requirements and data from business to design and develop data models that can effectively support these requirements.

Using Power BI, one should be able to create visualizations to present the data clearly and engagingly, making it easy for the stakeholders to understand the trends, pattern and insights.

Role & Responsibilities:

Must Need:

  1. BI Tool Expert – Need a Data Specialist who uses Microsoft’s Power BI tool set to create Data driven Designs, Reports and Dashboards.
  2. Should have experience in Data Storytelling, Data Modelling, transforming Raw data to simplified data structure and set normalized relationships.
  3. Create Complex data interactive Dashboards to and reports to provide clear actionable insights
  4. Should have experience in driving data through business to showcase – Trends, patterns, insights, forecasts, predictions etc.
  5. Should have acted as an enabler to business for Informed decision making.

Expertise in:

  1. Expertise in Data analysis & Analytics, Data modelling and data visualizations.
  2. Handson in design and develop data models
  3. Must understand, document the business requirements and should have ability to effectively transform the business requirements to valuable designs and reports
  4. Should have the ability to ensure the accuracy, reliability and completeness of data presented over Dashboard and Reports
  5. Should have technical expertise in massaging and simplification of data

Responsibilities:

As a Power BI developer:

  1. Should be able to drive independently and provide end to end solutions to the business problem statements
  2. Should work closely with the business stakeholders
  3. Should understand the exiting solutions and independently take decisions to enhance or re-develop
  4. Should bridge the gaps between technical and non-technical sides
  5. Should have the ability to leverage their data effectively
