Fullstack Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilledFullstack Developer with strong frontend expertise, particularly inNext.js, and 3–4 years of professional development experience. The ideal candidate excels at building polished, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces while also being comfortable implementing backend logic, APIs, and server-side features when needed. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features that power seamless and delightful user experiences.Key Responsibilities1. Frontend Development & Technical Excellence (Primary Focus) Build high-performance, scalable, and responsive interfaces usingNext.jswith pixel-perfect detail. Developmodular, reusable, and maintainableUI components and internal frontend libraries. Translate complex UI/UX designs into clean, performant code following best practices. Implement SSR, SSG, ISR, and client-side data fetching strategies for optimal performance. Optimize frontend reliability: bundle size reduction, caching strategies, accessibility, and web vitals. Write comprehensiveunit, integration, and E2E teststo maintain high code quality.2. Backend Development (Secondary But Important) Build and maintain REST APIs or server-side logic usingNode.js / Next.js API routes. Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar) to implement CRUD operations. Implement authentication, authorization, and session management using modern frameworks. Contribute to designing backend architecture that supports frontend performance and scalability. Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts, integrations, and data modeling. Assist with minor DevOps tasks like environment configuration, deployment workflows, and monitoring where required.3. Ownership, Leadership & Architecture Take full ownership of features—design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring. Identify technical risks and bottlenecks early; propose and lead improvements. Influence architectural decisions across frontend and backend layers. Mentor junior developers and encourage a culture of clean code and best practices. Improve developer experience (DX), maintain coding standards, and enhance team workflows.4. Collaboration & Product Contribution Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to ship features that align with business goals. Participate in sprint ceremonies with thoughtful technical insights and accurate estimations. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute meaningfully to technical discussions, design reviews, and architectural planning.Required QualificationsTechnical Skills 3–4 yearsof professional experience in frontend-heavy development. Strong hands-on expertise withNext.js, React.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with state management tools (Zustand, Redux, Recoil, Context API). Strong understanding of responsive design, UI performance, and browser behaviors. Experience integrating REST APIs, handling async data flows, and managing authentication. Solid backend development experience usingNode.js / Next.js server-side features. Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases. Proficiency with Git, version control strategies, and collaborative workflows. Strong debugging, performance profiling, and problem-solving abilities.Professional Qualities Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently drive features end-to-end. High attention to detail, especially in UI implementation and overall system behavior. Experience guiding or mentoring junior teammates. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced Technical Skills Proficiency withTypeScriptand type-safe development patterns. Experience withTailwind CSSor other utility-first CSS frameworks. Experience with testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright. Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, web vitals, and accessibility (WCAG). Familiarity with backend patterns like caching, queues, and microservices (optional).Bonus Experience Experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) for smooth design-to-code workflows. Experience building CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, or DevOps workflows. Prior startup experience or demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset. Open-source contributions or personal fullstack projects. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and production deployments.
