We are seeking an inquisitive and results-driven Data Scientist with a strong focus on Machine Learning to join our growing analytics team. You will be responsible for turning complex datasets into actionable insights and deploying models that directly impact user experience and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities :- Model Development: Design, build, and deploy production-ready Machine Learning models (e.g., classification, regression, clustering, NLP) to solve core business problems (e.g., recommendation systems, fraud detection, predictive maintenance).- Data Exploration: Conduct extensive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to prepare data for modeling.- Experimentation: Design and analyze A/B tests and statistical experiments to evaluate the performance of models and algorithms.- MLOps: Work with the engineering team to deploy, monitor, and maintain models in a production environment.- Communication: Clearly communicate complex results and methodologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Qualifications :- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).- Statistics: Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and causal inference.- SQL: Excellent SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets.- Education: Master's or Ph.D in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering). Bonus Points :- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).- Familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms (e.g. , AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).- Publications or active contributions to the ML community.- Experience with deep learning and specific domains like NLP or Computer Vision (ref:hirist.tech)
