About the Role :


We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in Delphi, Java, and MySQL to join our team in Cochin. This role is ideal for a developer with 3 to 10 years of experience who is passionate about maintaining and evolving critical business systems, particularly our merchandise management system and its integration with our e-commerce platform. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and ongoing enhancement of our product platforms and online shop functionalities.


What Youll Do :


As a Senior Software Developer, your key responsibilities will include :


- System Support & Development : Provide ongoing support and drive the further development of our core merchandise management system, ensuring its stability, performance, and scalability.


- Product Platform Management : Support and enhance the product platform for our online shop, which includes critical tasks such as data preparation and processing to ensure product information is accurate and readily available.


- Interface Management : Manage and create all essential interfaces between the merchandise management system, the product platform, and the online shop. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining APIs to facilitate smooth data flow and communication between these systems.


- API Development : Utilize your expertise in API development to build and maintain robust connections between various internal and external systems.


- E-commerce Technical Support : Provide crucial technical support to our e-commerce team, troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our online sales channels.


- Process Understanding : Develop a deep understanding of both the technical and commercial processes underpinning our merchandise management and e-commerce operations.


What You Bring :


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience :


- Excellent programming skills in Delphi are essential.


- Good hands-on experience with Java for development tasks.


- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and management.


- Proven experience in designing and developing APIs.


- A genuine interest in understanding and optimizing both technical and commercial processes.


- Strong English proficiency (both written and verbal) for effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders.


Nice-to-Have Skills :


- Experience with PostgreSQL database servers.


- Linux administration knowledge or basic Linux knowledge for server environments.


- Basic knowledge of Shopware scripts and APIs for e-commerce platform understanding.
