Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a renowned law firm, in their search for a PE/VC Associate (3-6 Years PQE) in Bangalore.


(JD not exhaustive and only for reference)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Advising venture capital firms, private equity funds, and strategic investors on investment transactions, including seed, Series A, and later-stage funding rounds.
  • Structuring, negotiating, and executing venture capital and private equity investments, exits, and secondary transactions.
  • Drafting and reviewing term sheets, shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, investment agreements, and other transaction documents.
  • Conducting due diligence and advising on regulatory and compliance aspects of investment transactions.
  • Working closely with start-ups and founders to navigate legal complexities in fundraising and corporate governance.
  • Coordinating with regulatory authorities and external counsel, where necessary.


Key Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of PQE, with a strong focus on venture capital transactions.
  • Prior experience at a reputed law firm with a focus on PE/VC or M&A transactions.
  • Deep understanding of investment structuring, corporate laws, and regulatory frameworks applicable to private equity and venture capital investments in India.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
