We're hiring a Motion Visual Designer at Codeword Tech

At Codeword, motion is more than movement — it's how we tell stories that stick.

We're looking for a creative mind who's equal parts animator and editor. Someone who can storyboard a concept, bring it to life with motion, and cut video content that feels polished and engaging. From product explainers to social reels, your work will define how our brand moves and feels.

This role is about producing dynamic, scroll-stopping motion content that blends storytelling with sharp design.

You should be solid at:

  • Crafting animations, reels, and short videos that capture attention
  • Editing crisp, long-form and short-form video content with smooth transitions and strong narrative flow
  • Building a consistent motion branding style that feels fresh yet recognisable
  • Translating product features or campaign ideas into motion-first stories
  • Working hand-in-hand with product and social teams to brainstorm and ship creative ideas fast

Tools we love (and hope you do too):

  • Davinci Resolve
  • Adobe After Effects & Premiere Pro
  • Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Figma
  • AI tools like Midjourney, ChatGPT, Kling AI, Gemini — plus the ability to prompt creatively to generate assets

What we value:

  • 1–2+ years of experience in motion graphics and video editing (strong reels/portfolio > years worked)
  • A natural instinct for storytelling and pacing in video content
  • Solid grasp of design principles: typography, colour, spacing, and composition
  • Ownership mindset with clear communication skills
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • A strong portfolio or reel is mandatory, we want to see your creativity in action
