Key Responsibilities:


Conduct Advanced Penetration Testing

  • Application Penetration Testing: Perform in-depth penetration tests on a wide range of casino-based games, financial technology products, and back-office services.
  • Security Assessment: Evaluate web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and other software related to casino operations for security vulnerabilities.
  • Security Controls Assessment: Assess and validate security controls to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive company information.
  • Network Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on diverse infrastructure components supporting casino games and back-office operations.
  • Network Security Evaluation: Assess network architecture, configurations, and devices to identify security vulnerabilities within the casino environment.


Vulnerability Identification and Analysis

  • Complex Vulnerability Identification: Identify and analyze complex security vulnerabilities and threats specific to casino games and back-office systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand the architecture of casino applications and provide thorough security assessments.
  • Network Vulnerability Analysis: Identify and analyze complex security vulnerabilities and potential threats within the network supporting casino operations.
  • IT and Security Team Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and security teams to understand network architecture and deliver detailed security assessments.


Security Research and Innovation

  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, especially those relevant to the casino industry.
  • Innovation: Contribute to the development of innovative security testing methodologies and tools tailored for casino-based games and back-office systems.
  • Security Research: Conduct research on attempted security breaches and recommend solutions to enhance security protocols.


Reporting and Documentation

  • Detailed Reporting: Create comprehensive and clear reports documenting findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
  • Status Reporting: Provide status reports on security matters to facilitate the development of security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, offering insights into potential security risks and their impact on casino operations.
  • Information Security Inquiries: Respond to information security-related inquiries using established frameworks, security tools, and procedures.


Collaboration and Training

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and other security professionals, within the casino environment.
  • Workflow Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance workflow and understand the business impact of these improvements for communication to management.

  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in network technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control) pertinent to casino operations.
  • Deep understanding of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.) within the casino industry.
  • Expertise in network design and engineering for casino games and back-office systems.


  • Professional Skills:
  • Strong time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan, report, establish goals and objectives, set standards, prioritize tasks, and schedule activities effectively.
  • Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem-solving skills, adaptable to various levels within the organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences at different organizational levels.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and clients in the casino industry.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, with a focus on applications within the casino industry.
