Deal Origination Manager - IB Debt


Responsibilities :


- Lead the origination and execution of debt financing transactions for NBFCs, banking institutions, and mutual funds, including term loans, structured finance, and bond issuances.

- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence to assess creditworthiness, evaluate collateral, and structure debt transactions tailored to the needs of clients in the NBFC, banking, and mutual fund sectors.

- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at NBFCs, banks, mutual funds, and other financial institutions to identify financing opportunities and generate deal flow.

- Prepare detailed pitch presentations, offering memoranda, and marketing materials to effectively communicate financing opportunities and secure mandates from clients.

- Coordinate with external legal counsel, rating agencies, and other advisors to facilitate the documentation and closing of debt transactions in a timely manner.

- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics in the NBFC, banking, and mutual fund sectors to provide strategic advice and market insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

- Assist senior bankers in business development activities, including client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events, to expand the firm's presence in the targeted sectors.

- CA/CFA/MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

- 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial advisory, with a focus on debt origination for NBFCs, banking institutions, or mutual funds.

- Strong understanding of financial products and services offered by NBFCs, banks, and mutual funds, including lending, treasury operations, and investment management.

- Proven track record of originating and executing debt financing transactions for clients in the NBFC, banking, or mutual fund sectors, with a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and industry dynamics.

- Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external advisors.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to the success of the team and the firm.
