Responsibilities :
Protocol Testing Expertise :
- Possess 5+ years of experience in protocol testing, with a strong understanding of L2 and L3 protocols.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of specific protocols like VLAN, xSTP, PPPoX, L2TP, LAG, LACP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, PIM, Carrier Ethernet, L2VPN, L3VPN, and Firewall VPN.
- Conduct comprehensive manual and automated testing of L2 and L3 protocols to identify and troubleshoot potential network issues.
Test Automation & Scripting :
- Possess strong programming skills with proficiency in Python for writing test cases and automating protocol testing procedures.
- Experience with automation frameworks like PyUnit or Robot Framework is a big plus.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
Test Management & Reporting :
- Design and execute test plans for L2 and L3 protocols, ensuring thorough testing coverage.
- Conduct regression testing to maintain the stability and performance of the network infrastructure.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and document findings clearly for further action.
Technical Skills :
Mandatory :
- 5+ years of network protocol testing experience
Mandatory :
