About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AWS Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for long-term growth and career advancement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of AWS services, migration methodologies, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using Terraform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable cloud solutions on the AWS Infrastructure Management:

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure based on business requirements.

- Implement and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudFormation.

- Monitor and optimize AWS infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.

Cloud Migration:

- Plan and execute cloud migration projects from on-premises or other cloud environments to AWS.

- Assess existing infrastructure and applications for cloud readiness.

- Develop and implement migration strategies using tools and services like AWS Migration Hub, DMS, and SMS.

- Ensure seamless data migration and minimize downtime during migration.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform:

- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Create reusable Terraform modules for consistent and efficient infrastructure deployment.

- Implement version control and CI/CD pipelines for Terraform code.

- Ensure infrastructure consistency and reproducibility.

Security and Compliance:

- Implement and maintain security best practices on the AWS platform.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Implement IAM policies and access controls to secure AWS resources.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.

Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.

- Participate in on call rotations.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4-5 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering.

- Strong understanding of core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation).

- Proven experience in cloud migration projects.

- Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).

- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for AWS.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills. -

- Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Preferred Skills :

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). -

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. -

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
