Job Description :


- Lead and participate in architectural discussions and workshops to define the architecture of new software components for RDK-B based networking devices.


- Evaluate and propose architectural changes for existing software stacks to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that architectural designs are implemented accurately and effectively.

- Define and document architectural guidelines, best practices, and patterns for the development teams.

- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve architectural issues, ensuring that solutions align with the overall architecture.

- Provide expert guidance and technical support during the implementation of architectural changes and new features.

- Perform code reviews and architectural assessments to ensure compliance with architectural standards.

- Serve as a key technical support resource for the open-source RDK community, addressing architectural issues and providing guidance on best practices.

- Actively participate in community forums, discussions, and events to share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the RDK ecosystem.

- Collaborate with open-source contributors and partners to align community-driven developments with the overall architecture.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to networking devices and software architecture.

- Identify opportunities for architectural improvements and innovations that can enhance the performance and reliability of RDK-B based devices.

- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 10 to 15 years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on networking devices and embedded systems.

Technical Expertise :

- Extensive experience with RDK-B and related technologies.

- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

- Proficiency in C/C++ and other relevant programming languages.

- Strong background in networking protocols, embedded systems, and real-time operating systems (RTOS).

- Experience with open-source software development and community engagement
