Job Summary:

We are seeking a proficient and experienced Deputy Manager - SQL SSRS Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience specializing in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL development, and data reporting. As a Deputy Manager, you will be integral in designing, developing, and maintaining robust reporting solutions that drive business insights and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

SSRS Report Development:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality SSRS reports based on business requirements.
  • Create and maintain complex, dynamic reports and dashboards that are both accurate and visually compelling.
  • Optimize report performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and minimal latency.

SQL and Database Management:

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through thorough validation and testing processes.
  • Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.

Data Integration and ETL:

  • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data into reporting databases.
  • Maintain data quality and consistency throughout the ETL process.

Data Visualization and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
  • Develop data visualizations that provide clear, actionable insights for business users.
  • Continuously improve report designs based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

Report Automation and Scheduling:

  • Automate the generation and distribution of reports to streamline workflows.
  • Schedule recurring reports to ensure timely delivery to stakeholders.
  • Develop scripts and tools to enhance the automation of reporting processes.

Data Security and Compliance:

  • Implement best practices for data security to protect sensitive information.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Collaboration and Technical Support:

  • Work closely with database administrators, data analysts, and other IT professionals to support reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any issues.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in SQL development and SSRS technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in professional development activities and knowledge-sharing sessions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in SQL development and SSRS report generation.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL programming.
  • Extensive experience with SSRS and creating complex reports.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Understanding of data security practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Experience with other reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based databases and services.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
