Lead Oracle DBA – OSS/BSS Transformation Program Location:Hyderabad Experience:10–14 Years Shift:UK Shift (1 PM – 10 PM IST) Immediate HireWe are seeking aLead Oracle DBAto drive thedatabase migration, upgrade, and DR implementationfor a large-scaleOSS/BSS Transformation Program . This includes transitioning Oracle Communications applications (Siebel, BRM, UIM, etc.) fromVMware to OLVM , upgrading Oracle DBs to19c/23ai , and establishing a highly available DR setup usingData Guard .Key Responsibilities: LeadOracle database migrationsfrom VMware-based toOLVM -based environments. Design and implementOracle Data Guard (physical standby)for DR and failover. Performschema upgradesfor Oracle Communications Suite (Siebel 24.x, BRM 12.x, UIM). Optimize SQL queries, indexing, and database performance for transformed application stacks. Implement and maintainRMAN backup strategies , validation, and monitoring. ConductAWR, ASH, and SQL tuning analysisto ensure post-upgrade performance. Define database standards and best practices across DEV → UAT → PROD environments. Collaborate with app teams, infrastructure, and project management on integration planning. Mentor mid-level DBAs and guide database change management activities.Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience inOracle Database Administration(12c → 19c/23ai). Proven experience withOracle Data Guard , both configuration and operational management. Strong knowledge ofRMAN , recovery scenarios, and backup validation. SQL performance tuning usingAWR ,ASH ,Explain Plans . Hands-on experience withSiebel ,BRM , and/orUIMdatabase schemas. Understanding of database dependencies in OSS/BSS systems. Experience withmigration planning and cutover execution . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
