About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Test Engineer with strong expertise in both manual functional testing and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Python with Selenium, capable of building and executing automation frameworks, while also being hands-on with manual testing for functional, regression, and exploratory test cycles.

Experience : 7 - 10 years

Location : Hyderabad

Second round : F2f

Must Have skills :

- Automation Testing

- Selenium with Python

- Pytest

- Agile methodologies

- CI/CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyse requirements and create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

- Perform manual functional testing for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium with Python.

- Execute and maintain regression, smoke, and sanity suites to ensure product stability.

- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests for continuous validation.

- Conduct defect reporting, root cause analysis, and impact assessment.

- Ensure quality metrics, documentation, and test reports are maintained for all releases.

Required Skills :

- 7- 9 years of software testing experience.

- Hybrid testing expertise with strong skills in both manual and automation testing.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Selenium with Python.

- Solid understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

- Experience in testing web and desktop applications (desktop testing is a plus).

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to desktop application testing.

- Knowledge of other automation tools/frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.).

- Basic understanding of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
