Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as the Campus Recruitment & Trainee Program Specialist. The ideal candidate will lead campus recruitment drives, manage on boarding processes, and oversee the end-to-end training and development journey of Graduate Engineer Trainees, Management Trainees, Engineering Trainees, and Site Diploma Engineering Trainees. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills to ensure the seamless execution of recruitment, training, and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Campus Recruitment Drives:
- Plan and execute campus recruitment initiatives across India to hire Graduate Engineer Trainees, Management Trainees, Engineering Trainees, and Site Diploma Engineering Trainees.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and technical institutes.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, pre-placement talks, and recruitment events to attract top talent.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to finalize hiring requirements and timelines.
Onboarding and Induction Training:
- Design and manage the onboarding journey for all campus recruits to ensure a seamless transition into the organization.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive induction training calendar covering functional, technical, and behavioral aspects.
- Collaborate with department heads to schedule functional training sessions.
Training Review and Reporting:
- Periodically review the effectiveness of induction training programs.
- Provide regular reports on training progress and suggest course corrections to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Solicit feedback from trainees and trainers to enhance program quality.
Trainee Deployment Planning:
- Collaborate with the management team to understand business and functional requirements for trainee deployment.
- Plan and execute the deployment of trainees to various roles, projects, or functions based on organizational needs.
Periodic Reviews and Feedback:
- Organize periodic review sessions to assess trainee performance, learning progress, and engagement levels.
- Facilitate feedback collection from mentors, managers, and trainees to drive continuous improvement.
Behavioral Needs Assessment and Training:
- Conduct needs assessments to identify behavioral and soft skill gaps among trainees.
- Develop or source appropriate training modules to address identified needs.
- Oversee the delivery of behavioral training programs, ensuring impactful learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in campus recruitment, onboarding, and training management, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in planning and executing large-scale recruitment drives and training programs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
