Position OverviewThe Social Worker will play a key role in supporting, rehabilitating, and empowering women acid attack survivors through psychosocial support, counselling, rehabilitation services, and livelihood development. The position requires empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to gender justice and social change.2. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with hospitals, legal aid centers, and vocational training institutions for survivor rehabilitation. - Maintain confidential case records and develop personalized rehabilitation plans - Facilitate skill development programs - Organize awareness campaigns, community workshops, and school/college sensitization programs on acid violence and gender equality - Collaborate with local authorities and media for awareness and rehabilitation initiatives. - Build partnerships with NGOs, government departments, and donors for survivor support programs. - Coordinate with legal and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive survivor care. - Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, case studies, and success stories. - Maintain accurate data on beneficiaries and program outcomes.3. Qualifications & Experience- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent from a recognized university. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in women’s welfare, gender-based violence, or rehabilitation projects. - Experience in counselling, case management, or community outreach preferred.4. Skills & Competencies- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English, Hindi, and local language). - Empathy, patience, and non-judgmental attitude. - Knowledge of women’s rights, social welfare schemes, and legal processes. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, data management).
