**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Linux Systems Administration:

    - Manage and maintain complex Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
    - Perform system installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching.
    - Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
    - Optimize system performance and resource utilization.

  • Automation with Ansible:

  • Networking:

  • Scripting:

  • Monitoring and Alerting:

    - Configure and maintain monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus to ensure system health and performance.

  • Security:

    - Implement and enforce Linux security best practices.
    - Configure and manage firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

  • Cloud & Virtualization (Preferred):

    - Contribute to the design and management of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    - Manage virtualized environments using VMware or Kubernetes.
    - Integrate cloud-based and on-prem solutions.

**Required Skills:**

  • Experience:

    - Minimum 10 years of experience in Linux systems administration.

  • Technical Skills:

    - Strong expertise in managing Linux-based environments.
    - Hands-on experience in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and automating system tasks.
    - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing, load balancers, and network security.
    - Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.

    - Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection, and Linux security best practices.
