Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of web and mobile applications. This role involves taking ownership of projects from concept to deployment, mentoring team members, and implementing performance-driven development practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise across full-stack development (MEAN or MERN stack), database management, DevOps workflows, and agile methodologies. In addition to coding, this role will also emphasize architectural decisions, code optimization, and process improvement for scalable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Application Development & Architecture :

- Lead the end-to-end development of robust web and mobile applications using MEAN or MERN stack.

- Design scalable and maintainable application architecture, ensuring modularity and clean code practices.

- Integrate frontend and backend components with seamless API communication and data flow.

- Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability across devices and platforms.

2. Code Optimization & Workflow Enhancement :

- Identify bottlenecks in the application and implement code optimization techniques (lazy loading, caching, efficient DB queries, etc.).

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps for continuous testing and deployment.

- Set up performance monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Google Lighthouse) and conduct regular performance audits.

- Utilize logging and error-handling frameworks to ensure system reliability and traceability.

3. Technical Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead a team of developers, guiding them in technical design, task planning, and code reviews.

- Act as a technical mentor, helping junior developers grow their skills and adopt best practices.

- Coordinate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and QA to align development efforts with business goals.

- Foster a collaborative, agile work environment and ensure timely sprint deliveries using tools like Jira or Azure -Boards.

4. DevOps & Cloud Integration :

- Manage deployment workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.

- Work with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy, monitor, and scale applications.

- Set up infrastructure-as-code and secure environments following DevSecOps principles.

5. Database & Backend Services :

- Design, implement, and optimize relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Build secure and high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs.

- Implement data modeling, indexing, and migration strategies for optimal database performance.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

- Expertise in JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, Angular, React) using MEAN or MERN stack.

- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python or Ruby).

- Strong knowledge of RDBMS technologies and writing optimized SQL queries.

- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Docker.

- Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and agile software development processes.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with microservices architecture and asynchronous processing.

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).

- Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Firebase.

- Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
