About the Role

As an Equity Research Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, and tracking Global Markets with focus on Indian public & private equity market. You'll work closely with the leadership to build investment thesis, monitor ongoing developments, and support structured portfolio reviews.

The focus is entirely on deep-dive research, financial analysis, and investment tracking for proprietary capital.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Research & Analysis

- Conduct fundamental research on companies across sectors: business models, competitive landscape, management quality, industry tailwinds.

- Analyze quarterly results, annual reports, investor presentations, con calls, and industry publications.

2. Investment Thesis Support

- Prepare concise investment memos and research notes to support buy/sell/hold decisions.

- Assist in building a library of potential investible ideas across market caps and sectors.

3. Tracking & Monitoring

- Track existing portfolio companies for news, events, quarterly results, and valuation shifts.

- Maintain watchlists and earnings trackers.

- Prepare monthly/quarterly portfolio update presentations and dashboards.

4. Tools & Research Systems

- Use platforms like Screener.in, TIKR, Trendlyne, Capital IQ (if available), Excel, and others.

- Work with Excel, Google Sheets, and visualization tools to present research and data clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Any Degree with specialization on Finance/Analytics/ AI/ Economics/ Statistics.

- 1-4 years of experience in equity research, PMS, AMCs, or family offices.

- Sound understanding of accounting, financial ratios, and business models.

- Passion for long-term investing, public markets, and reading company filings.

Bonus Points For:

- Interest in sectors like renewables, deeptech, financials, or manufacturing.

- Experience with Excel automation, screeners, or building basic research tools.

- Awareness of behavioral biases and risk in investing.
