Test Automation Engineer with C#

Gurgaon (5 days working)


Description:

  • Financial industry background is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience is required.
  • The one (1) technology consultant shall have proven experience in automation testing using C#, Selenium WebDriver, and Visual Studio, as well as experience in automation testing using other popular frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Spec flow, Postman, Rest Assured, etc.).
  • The test engineer must also have strong proficiency in at least one programming language, particularly in object-oriented concepts as well (C#, JavaScript).
  • The test engineer must have hands on experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks, and writing efficient,
  • maintainable, and reusable automation code.
  • The test engineer must demonstrate familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or NUnit, have experience with version control systems like Git, have experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, maintain a strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies, and have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • The test engineer will have functional testing and automation testing experience in order to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests.
  • Understand requirements, prepare test plans, execute test cases, perform various types of testing for onboarding and upgrading of different clients.
  • Analyse test results and report defects to the development team for timely resolution.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for client specific testcases using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the development process.
  • Perform thorough testing of software product to ensure high quality and reliability


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
