About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and driven Data Engineering Manager to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end data platform solutions for our clients.

This role combines technical depth, leadership, and client-facing skills, requiring you to manage a team of data engineers and oversee projects spanning cloud data platforms, ELT pipelines, and BI/visualization tools such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Power BI, and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers across multiple client engagements.

- Own end-to-end delivery of cloud data solutions : ingestion ? modeling ? visualization.

- Architect and implement platforms using Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, and Snowflake.

- Build scalable, reliable pipelines and warehouse structures.

- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders to align technical and business goals.

- Ensure best practices in CI/CD, version control, testing, monitoring, and documentation.

- Support pre-sales with solution design, estimation, and technical proposals.

- Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Skills & Experience Required :

- 12+ years in data engineering or related fields, including 34 years in leadership/management.

- Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade data platform solutions.

- Hands-on expertise in at least two : Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake.

- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or Scala.

- Expertise in ELT/ETL patterns, data modeling (dimensional & data vault), and cloud storage (ADLS, S3).

- Experience with BI/visualization tools : Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, Sigma.

- Cloud experience in Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

- Familiarity with orchestration/automation tools (ADF, dbt, Airflow).

- Exposure to Agile delivery, estimation, and team scaling.

- Experience mentoring junior engineers and building high-performance teams.
