Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Migration Architect with 3 to 6 years of expertise in leading and executing complex data migration projects, particularly in Windchill environments.

The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) tool, including extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in CAD data migration and have experience in migrating data from non-Windchill systems to Windchill. Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, database structures, and object models is essential for success in this role.

The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be capable of collaborating with customers to gather migration requirements, analyze source data, and perform data mapping. Proficiency in scripting languages for database manipulation and strong problem-solving abilities are also required.

Key Responsibilities :

Windchill Migration Expertise :

- Execute Windchill migration projects using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), with a minimum of 3-4 successfully completed projects.

- Expertise in WBM tool execution, including extraction, transformation, and loading of data.

Data Migration Proficiency :

- Lead data migration efforts, including CAD data migration, ensuring seamless transfer of data from legacy systems to Windchill.

Non-Windchill to Windchill Migration :

- Experience in at least one non-Windchill to Windchill data migration project, demonstrating the ability to adapt migration strategies to different systems.

Windchill Architecture and Database Understanding :

- Possess a deep understanding of Windchill architecture, database structures, and object models to effectively design and execute migration strategies.

Customer Collaboration :

- Work closely with customers to gather migration requirements, analyze source data, and perform data mapping to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Scripting Knowledge :

- Utilize scripting languages such as Oracle SQL or SQL Server for large dataset analysis and database manipulation during migration processes.

Problem-Solving Abilities :

- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges encountered during the migration process, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Communication Skills :

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in data migration projects, with a focus on Windchill environments.

- Expertise in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM), with a track record of executing multiple migration projects.

- Proficiency in CAD data migration and experience with non-Windchill to Windchill migrations.

- Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, database structures, and object models.

- Experience in working directly with customers to gather requirements and perform data mapping.

- Scripting knowledge in database languages such as Oracle SQL or SQL Server.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
