Position: Lead Software Engineer (AEM)
Location: Pune, India
Mode of Work: Hybrid (combination of office and remote work)
About the Role: As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading major projects and complex assignments with broad scope and long-term business implications. You will oversee day-to-day system development and maintenance activities, collaborate with business and technical partners, and develop strategic technical plans and architecture proposals. Your expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Java (Spring Boot and microservices architecture) will be crucial in driving innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead major projects and ensure high-quality, innovative solutions with faster time to market.
Oversee system development and maintenance activities to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with business and technical partners to identify opportunities and manage risks.
Develop strategic technical plans and architecture proposals.
Research current and upcoming technologies and perform Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Implement processes, create cost and time estimates, and manage project scope.
Define and lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.
Mentor and guide team members through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and represent the team during compliance audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
10 to 12 years of experience in relevant fields, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead role.
Expertise in AEM, Java (Spring Boot and microservices), JavaScript, CSS, and Angular.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
