Job Summary:
We are looking for a BigFix Engineer to deploy, configure, and maintain BigFix infrastructure, including servers, agents, and relays. The role involves patch management, security compliance enforcement, and endpoint troubleshooting for both Windows and Linux systems. Key responsibilities include generating reports, analyzing vulnerabilities, assisting in incident response, and maintaining documentation. The BigFix Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT security and compliance with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- BigFix Deployment and Configuration: Deploy, configure, and maintain BigFix infrastructure, including servers, agents, and relays, to manage endpoints effectively.
- Patch Management: Develop and execute patch management strategies to ensure the timely and secure deployment of patches and updates across all endpoints.
- Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards using BigFix to maintain a secure and compliant IT environment.
- Endpoint Management: Manage and troubleshoot endpoints, including Windows and Linux servers and workstations, ensuring their stability and security.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and perform analysis on endpoint data to identify vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and performance trends.
- Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities, including investigating and remediating security incidents on managed endpoints.
- Documentation Maintain accurate documentation of BigFix configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of IT security and compliance objectives with broader business goals.
Qualifications:
- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science or I.T
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, with a minimum 1 year of experience of working on endpoint patch management solutions (any OEM)
- Hands-on/practical working experience on OEM Patch Management console
