Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Automation Engineer with expertise in PLC programming, HMI programming, SCADA development, and VFD commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, strong technical skills, and the ability to handle client interactions effectively. This role involves frequent travel to client sites across India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PLC Programming: Develop, troubleshoot, and commission programs for leading brands, including Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley (AB).
  • HMI Programming: Create and configure HMI applications for brands such as Siemens, ABB, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley (AB).
  • SCADA Development: Design and deploy SCADA systems using platforms such as Siemens WinCC, ABB CHMI, Zenon, PCVue, and Movicon.
  • VFD Commissioning: Configure, test, and commission Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) from brands such as ABB, Siemens, Delta, and Inovance.
  • Communication Protocols: Implement and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols, including MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, OPC DA/UA, MQTT, and Ethernet/IP.
  • Technical Design: Prepare electrical and control system designs using AutoCAD and EPLAN software.
  • Site Work: Perform PLC commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site support for automation systems.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Travel: Be willing to travel extensively across India for project execution and support.


Required Skills:
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and HMI applications.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols and industrial networking.
  • Competency in AutoCAD and EPLAN for control system designs.
  1. Soft Skills:
  • Strong client handling and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  1. Work Requirements:
  • Flexibility to travel across India for site visits and commissioning activities.
  • Ability to adapt to challenging on-site conditions and dynamic project requirements.


Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification or training in PLC, SCADA, or industrial communication protocols will be an advantage.


Experience:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation, particularly with the mentioned brands and technologies.
