Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable data processing and integration across multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions on Azure.

- Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and data models using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and SQL.

- Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and related

services.

- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and industry standards.

- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and BI teams to provide clean, structured, and reliable datasets.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Optimize query performance and cost efficiency across Azure resources.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and cloud-native data architectures.

- Automate workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment of data solutions.

- Stay updated on the latest Azure and cloud data engineering technologies and best Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer with strong focus on Azure ecosystem.

- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and SQL Server.

- Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.

- Solid programming/scripting skills in Python, PySpark, or Scala.

- Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub preferred).

- Good understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to handle large-scale datasets.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
