Job Description:


- More than 10 years of experience working with complex networks.

- Background and deep experience with network topologies and protocols are mandatory.

- Experience as a Network Engineer mandatory.

- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, HP, Palo Alto and Silver Peak technologies.

- Engaging presentation style, with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios

- Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at the same time

- Professional Network Certifications preferred (CCNP, JCNP, OCSA, etc)

The role will work closely with other network resources to ensure the network meets or exceeds key business requirements within go forward strategy. This role will be part of the Global Infrastructure and help streamline operational support and increase network stability.

You are :

- Comprehensive knowledge of network switching protocols: VLANs, STP, VPC, VSS

- Comprehensive knowledge of network routing protocols: Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), VRRP/HSRP, route maps, ACLs, policy routing

- Ability to drive and manage vendor support relationships.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on critical thinking and problem solving.

- Must have positive attitude and be solution oriented.

- Ability to mentor and provide guidance on best practice principles with network configuration.

- Competent with monitoring techniques, tools, alerting and notification processes.

- Proficient in leading a team to troubleshoot and deliver viable solutions.

- Possess ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.

- Degree in Computer related topic or equivalent work experience.

- Competent in Cloud Networking best practices and techniques including limitations of protocols.

WHAT YOU WILL DO (JOB RESPONSIBLITIES) :

- Lead and deliver customer network requirements, scoping and design workshops, ensuring requirements are well documented

- Ability to take initiative and work autonomously or in a group.

- Provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation team.

- Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of Vontier and all Verticals network capabilities and constraints.

- Recognize and develop opportunities to leverage Vontier's network to meet business/customer requirements.

- As a senior technical member of the team, deliver hands-on configuration, development and integration services and serve in a delivery assurance capacity for all project deliverables

- Plan and coordinate all phases of testing and test acceptance; design and oversee development of testing related work products; lead test remediation cycles

- Support practice/test build efforts to include development of best practice network methodologies.

- Develop and present business case material for senior prospect and customer stakeholders. Create and deliver tailored presentations and network demonstrations.

- Must have situational awareness and ability to understand when to have a sense of urgency.

- Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept / Proof of Value engagements with prospects

- Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents pertaining to network engagements.

- In conjunction with Sales Personnel and Professional Services, conduct customer network transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations, etc in preparation for deployment

- Act as the network subject matter expert at Executive briefings/marketing events
