KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

1. Relevant work experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role

2. Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with very good understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, WM, SD

3. Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.

4. Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.

5. Must have good experience with SAP security concepts and must have implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects.

6. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with ability to translate ideas into practical implementation

7. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships including team members, vendors and partners

8. Excellent communication skills with ability to present and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audience

9. Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and resolution of issues

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems

2. Design new solution extensions based on business requirements

3. Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost effective design.

4. Provide architecture and design guidance to the enhancement / development team

5. Ensure that the enhancement / development team develops, configures and implements the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements

6. Ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP's Solution Extensions

7. Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated

8. Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases and on automation

9. Participate in the product roadmap and product strategy definition.

10. Help and review with the creation of training, product, and solution documentation
