We’re looking for an experienced Senior ETL QA Engineer to join our fast-paced QA team and contribute to high-impact projects deployed on the cloud.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for ETL processes and data pipelines on the Cloud - Validate data movement across source and target systems ensuring accuracy in extraction, transformation, and loading - Write and execute complex SQL queries to verify large-scale datasets, perform data reconciliation, and support defect analysis - Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and developers to understand data requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage - Perform regression, system integration, and functional testing for ETL workflows and data jobs - Automate repetitive testing using SQL scripts or data validation tools to improve test efficiency - Maintain high standards of data quality and align all testing to defined business rules and logic - Attend and contribute to Agile ceremonies – including sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectivesMust-Have Skills:- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in ETL QA testing - Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis - Strong understanding of ETL concepts and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, etc.) - Proven experience testing cloud-based data pipelines - Experience in defect tracking and QA lifecycle tools - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environmentsNice to Have:- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts - Exposure to automation frameworks for data testingInterested or know someone perfect for the role?Apply now or drop your CV at [shalini.v@saranshinc.com].
