Workday Functional Consultant

Responsibilities :

- Partner with People Technology and Services Product Owners to translate business requirements into actionable Workday configurations.

- Implement solutions across various Workday modules, including HCM, Compensation, Onboarding, Performance & Talent, Security, Time & Absence.

- Conduct thorough configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions to improve business processes within assigned functional areas.

- Serve as a technical resource for future Workday implementations and enhancements.

- Develop and maintain data integrity processes through report generation, data auditing, information analysis, and error troubleshooting.

- Collaborate closely with the HR team to understand business goals, processes, and any existing gaps.

- Design and implement Workday solutions that effectively address these needs.

- Troubleshoot complex system and user issues to identify root causes and drive resolution.

- Conduct workflow analysis to streamline processes.

- Configure and customize Workday reports based on HR management needs.

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Workday technology, providing guidance and support.

- Independently handle complex Workday issues, proposing solutions and demonstrating a high level of ownership.

- Participate and assist in ongoing Workday functional configuration and integration efforts.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience working with Workday HCM, including configuration and Workday Report Writer.

- Proven experience in Workday configuration, security permissions, and creating/uploading Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) objects.

- In-depth knowledge of Workday modules, including HCM, Compensation, Talent & Performance Management, Time & Absence.

- Experience creating test scenarios and executing comprehensive testing procedures within Workday.

- Superior attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex Workday issues.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present information clearly and concisely
