About the role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GxP Automation Functional Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with a focus on the Robot Framework and Python. This role requires an individual who can work independently to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and compliance of our systems in a regulated GxP environment. You will play a crucial role in validating software that supports life science and pharmaceutical processes.

Position : GxP Automation Functional Tester

Location : Pune/Nagpur, India

Duration : Full-time

Office Hours : Flexible, with overlap to support both India and UK time zones

Key Responsibilities :

- Automation Testing : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Robot Framework and Python.

- Independent Execution : Take ownership of the automation testing process, including test design, script development, execution, and reporting.

- Scripting and Keyword Development : Utilize your strong scripting skills (preferably in Python) to create custom libraries and keywords for the Robot Framework to extend its capabilities.

- Test Data Management : Develop scripts and processes for generating, managing, and processing test data required for automation.

- GxP Compliance : Ensure all testing activities and documentation adhere to Good Practices (GxP) and relevant regulatory standards.

- Test Analysis and Reporting : Analyze test results, identify defects, and report findings to the development team and stakeholders.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Mentorship : Potentially mentor junior team members on automation best practices and the Robot Framework.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years dedicated to test automation.

- Automation Frameworks : Strong, hands-on experience with the Robot Framework.

- Scripting : Proficient in Python scripting for test automation, custom keyword development, and data processing.

- Test Design : Proven ability to design and implement effective automation test cases from functional requirements.

- Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Independent Work : Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

- Domain Knowledge (Good to have) : Experience working in the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry with a solid understanding of GxP regulations and validation processes.

- Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with a global team.
