The Opportunity :

A5E Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality SAP SD solutions to our diverse global clientele.

Responsibilities :

As an SAP SD Consultant, you will be responsible for the following :

- Business Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes to identify pain points, opportunities for optimization, and alignment with SAP SD functionalities.

SAP SD Consulting & Configuration: Provide expert consulting services in SAP Sales & Distribution, including :

- Gathering and documenting detailed business requirements from clients.

- Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP SD modules to meet specific business needs (e.g., Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, Rebate Processing).

- Developing functional specifications for custom developments (RICEF objects).

Solution Delivery & Support :

- Perform system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance testing) to ensure solutions are robust and meet business requirements.

- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents related to SAP SD functionalities.

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, sustainable, and scalable SAP SD solutions.

Client Interaction & Communication :

- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Lead and participate in client workshops, presentations, and training sessions.

Sales Strategy Support:

- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to provide technical expertise and support for sales strategies, including solution demonstrations and proposal contributions.

Documentation:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications :

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proven experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) module configuration and implementation.

- Strong understanding of core SAP SD functionalities, including Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, and Master Data (Customer Master, Material Master).

- Familiarity with integration points between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, PP).

Consulting & Analytical Skills :

- Demonstrated experience in a consulting role with a strong focus on SAP SD.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.

- Proficiency in understanding and optimizing end-to-end business processes.

Communication & Client Management :

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

- Proven ability to interact effectively with clients, manage expectations, and build lasting relationships.

Location : Ability to work full-time on-site in Mumbai.

Bonus Points :

- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
