Job Summary :


We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP MDG processes and configurations, along with a strong background in data governance principles. This role involves working closely with functional teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of master data.

Key Responsibilities :


Implementation and Configuration :

- Lead the technical implementation of SAP MDG solutions.

- Configure and customize MDG to meet business requirements.

- Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and UI enhancements.

Data Management :

- Monitor and ensure the quality and integrity of master data.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies and procedures.

- Support data migration activities, including data cleansing and validation.

Integration and Support :

- Integrate MDG with other SAP modules and third-party applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to master data governance.

- Provide technical support and guidance to functional teams.

Documentation and Training :

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and process flows.

- Assist in training end-users and providing ongoing support.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience with SAP MDG (versions 7.x or higher preferred).

- Strong understanding of master data concepts and governance practices.

- Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and data modeling.

- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of data management tools and technologies.

- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and other relevant SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP).

- Experience in project management and Agile methodologies.

Preferable Candidates :

1. At least 4 years of experience in SAP MDG technical role and must have done 2-3 implementations.

2. Proficient in ABAP, OOPS concept, FPM/webdynpro and BADI implementation

3. Experience in Data Modelling, UI Modelling, Process modelling and Replication.

4. Experience in creation of CDS view, creation of API, publishing API. The candidate must have MDG-F experience and experience in Custom object and Hierarchies
