Job Description:
You may be the ideal candidate if you have the following capabilities:
Programming skills: Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R and Python, as well as database query languages like SQL, Hive, and Pig.
Python libraries: Familiarity with key Python libraries including Pandas, NumPy, RandomForestRegressor, GradientBoostingRegressor, LinearRegression, cgitb, and image processing and prediction algorithms.
Statistics: Strong applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
Machine learning: Good understanding of machine learning methods such as k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, and more.
Math skills: Solid foundation in Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra, essential for predictive performance and algorithm optimization.
Data wrangling: Proficiency in managing imperfect data and experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, ggplot, d3.js, and Power BI.
Software engineering: Strong background in software engineering principles.
Problem-solving: High problem-solving aptitude with hands-on experience using data science tools and algorithms.
Analytical thinking: An analytical mindset paired with great business acumen.
Educational Qualifications - Computer science, engineering, or a related field
