You will be charged with developing a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our products but also fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.What you'll be doing: Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions Conducting tests before product launch to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. As a part of the system and solution test team, you will be responsible for the cross-functional and system testing of all the products Responsible for writing the system and solution test plan for UI and REST APIs Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs Responsible for recreating the customer found defects in the Lab environment Responsible for automating the system and solution test cases for API based development Responsible for Functional, Regression, Integration, Performance testing Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Monitor debugging process results Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Contribute to engineering efforts to solve complex engineering problems in testing and tools Design, develop and extend the automated testing frameworks Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategiesWhat you must have: 6-8+ years in QA Testing role BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Experience in developing automated test frameworks in Networking/Cloud domain Versatile and fast learner with the ability to take early code and help with early integration testing Experience with REST API, Python, Bash, and Shell scripting Good Working Knowledge of NoSQL like MongoDB Knowledge of Linux/Unix, AWS Public Cloud Services Must be very hands-on, passionate about quality, and willing to collaborate with multiple teams for system testingGood to have: Good English verbal and written communication skills to partner with local and remote engineers Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus Aware of Telematics Based ProductsWhy drivebuddyAI: Supporting the whole you: Competitive Salary & Benefits Highly dynamic work culture Good Pedigree & Self-motivated Team Employee Skill Enhancement OKR driven appraisals Flexible Leave Policy We're Integrated: With our industry partners ecosystem, we are one of the very few Automotive AI companies building in-house Hardware We're Funded: We are backed by Insurtech company Roadzen Inc HQ in US with global presence in Insurtech partnerships.
