Job Description :


Roles and Responsibilities :


- Experience in Systems Engineering / Avionics / Propulsion side in UAV design and -Development

- Strong Knowledge of avionics system techniques / multi-function testing.

- Thorough understanding of System integration and testing techniques and methods.

- Monitoring of Project progression.

- Experience in the aerospace and defence industry with relevant experience in managing large scale in the domain of design and development (software, structural and electro-mechanical systems), manufacturing and quality across multiple clientele and product lines.

- Knowledge in Mechanical/Hydraulic systems/Cabin or any other systems.

- Experience in developing and writing technical requirements per standards (to be mentioned).

- Experience in validating technical requirements per Standard.

- Knowledge of certification and airworthiness requirements.

- Experience in defining and managing product interfaces.

- Expertise in analyzing and decomposing requirements to lower-level specifications.

- Exposure to complex systems architectures and how an architecture relates to requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to consider the product holistically (systems thinking), including how it interacts with its environment, users and other systems.


About the Role :


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).


As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire system lifecycle, from concept to certification.


Key Responsibilities :


Systems Engineering :


- Lead the development and maintenance of system requirements and specifications.


- Analyze and decompose high-level requirements into lower-level specifications.


- Define and manage product interfaces between various subsystems.


- Ensure system architecture aligns with overall project goals.


Avionics and Propulsion Systems :


- Possess a deep understanding of avionics system techniques, including multi-function testing.


- Have experience in the design and development of propulsion systems for UAVs.


- Monitor the progress of projects and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.


System Integration and Testing :


- Oversee the integration of various subsystems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.


- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify system performance and reliability.


- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.


Certification and Airworthiness :


- Understand certification and airworthiness requirements for UAVs.


- Support the certification process by providing necessary documentation and test results.


Problem-Solving and Analysis :


- Identify and troubleshoot system issues.


- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement.


- Develop innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.


Required Skills and Experience :


- Strong background in Systems Engineering, Avionics, or Propulsion.


- Proven experience in UAV design and development.


- In-depth knowledge of avionics systems techniques and multi-function testing.


- Expertise in system integration and testing methodologies.


- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry, preferably with a focus on UAVs.


- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
