As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the QA team, developing, and implementing QA strategies, and ensuring the quality of our products throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional products to our customers. We are looking for a QA Lead to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. You should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members.
  • Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality standards across projects.
  • Define test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify testing needs, and prioritize QA activities.
  • Establish and maintain testing environments, tools, and frameworks to support QA activities.
  • Review and analyse system specifications.
  • Collaborate with team to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Create and Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
  • Perform hands-on testing as needed, including functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
  • Monitor and analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Track and report QA metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders, providing visibility into the quality of deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in QA and product testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.


Must-Have Skills

  • Functional Testing - Sanity, Regression, Integration, System, Scenario testing etc.
  • QA Processes - Defect Life Cycle, STLC, Test Management Tools, QA Metrics, Traceability Report
  • Non-Functional Testing - Performance Testing, Load Testing, Security Testing, Api Testing
  • Automation - Core Java/C#, Python, Automation Framework, Web Driver, Ci/Cd
  • SQL - Database Queries Crud Operation, Joins
  • Test Data Management - Creating & managing test data required for the functional suite


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Junit, Cucumber, PlayWright etc.
  • Understanding of manual and automation testing – expertise in test automation tools and frameworks
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology.
  • Experience with test management tools such as Jira (preferable), TestRail, or Quality Centre
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot defects.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in Python is MUST
  • Experience in Robot framework (preferred)
  • Experience on API / Web Service (WCF services, Web API).
  • Experience in any programming language java/C#/ Python with good knowledge of OOPs concepts.
  • Experience in data driven and DB testing and in writing medium-complexity SQL queries.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Certified Agile Tester (CAT) are a plus.
